ENISA has been supporting the Incident Response community to build and advance Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) capabilities by providing capacity-building opportunities and by publishing over 70 dedicated studies and practices. Established by the NIS Directive and further strengthened by NIS2, the CSIRTs Network aims to build confidence and trust while boosting operational cooperation among Member states.
There are currently more than 750 teams publicly listed in the CSIRT Inventory, the ENISA interactive mapping tool identifying all CSIRT teams in Europe.
The objective of the Agency is to help improve incident response preparedness, information exchange and operational cooperation against the next generation of cyber-attacks.
In addition, the ENISA CSIRT Maturity Framework enables teams to self-develop, gain in maturity and hence be better prepared to protect their constituencies.
