On the 3rd and 4th of June 2019, ENISA organized in Athens, Greece, a conference on Artificial Intelligence in the EU cyber crisis blueprint context under the title ‘ Artificial Intelligence-An opportunity for the EU cyber-crisis management’.
ENISA serves as the CSIRTs Network’s secretariat and supports the cooperation and coordination of CSIRTs during cybersecurity incidents.
Established by NIS Directive and further strengthened later by NIS2, the CSIRTs Network aims to build confidence and trust while boosting operational cooperation among Member states.
The work of the network touches on information exchange, coordination in incident response and assistance to Member States in times of cross-border incidents. The network’s mission also extends to supporting the coordinated disclosure of vulnerabilities with high potential to significant impact more than one Member State. This support means facilitating cooperation and providing best practices and assistance.
The CSIRTs Network is composed of CSIRTs appointed by EU Member States and CERT- EU ('CSIRTs Network members'). The European Commission participates in the network as an observer. ENISA is powering the CSIRTs Network by providing the Secretariat and by actively supporting the cooperation among CSIRTs and incident coordination upon request.
