eHealth Security Conference 2020 Online Series
ENISA is organising a series of virtual eHealth Security conferences in cooperation with the Danish Health Data Authority on cybersecurity topics touching the Healthcare sector.
The aim of the events is to invite professionals from the healthcare sector and experts in cybersecurity to share their experiences and challenges through open discussion sessions. Each monthly session will focus on individual topics.
Session 3: Incident Response while in Crisis
While healthcare has traditionally been a target of cybercrime due to the value of health data and the criticality of healthcare services, malicious actors have already taken advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to launch a series of phishing campaigns and ransomware attacks. As the sector is already pushed to its limits due to the COVID-19 crisis, responding to the increasing number of cyber-attacks has become an even harder puzzle to solve.
In order to support healthcare organisation in cybersecurity incident response, the cybersecurity community has organised itself to offer support. Moreover, the EU organised itself around incident response and cyber crisis management mechanisms and improved its operating methods to provide a coordinated EU response.
Join us in this third and final session of the eHealth Security Conference 2020 Online Series to hear more about how the sector responded to incidents over the past months and how some of the key lessons learned have been translated into actions to improve healthcare cyber resilience moving forward.
